Biography

Cortelious' acting training includes method of Meisner, Spolin and Chekhov acting techniques.

Cortelious is a SAG / AFTRA professional actor who is known by the one name, "Cortelious". Like all great actors, this one name approach speaks volumes. Cortelious’ lifelong passion for acting has brought Cortelious casting success in hundreds of roles for a wide variety of projects including: a starring role as a Cornel in “Distant Frontiers” (with Blue screen, a SIFI feature by SkyMonkey Films), the starring voice role of “Magic Lamp” in Disney Television’s Saturday morning cartoon “Aleko & Magic Lamp” (Disney TV), a doctor, a police detective and a drug dealer (Midnight Caller, NBC Prime time TV shows) and starring as a tough guy mobster in (Little Rico, N.G Productions).

His versatility as an actor has earned him recognition from acting coaches and casting directors alike. Cortelious has been recognized and recommended by many in the entertainment industry as a serious and dedicated actor who continues to win roles in a variety of projects like: Action Films, Sci-Fi, and Drama.

Cortelious’ entertainment industry associates often invite him to Red Carpet events in Hollywood. He has been called “one of the new, important actors to watch” by Michele Blood and Rock Riddle in the book Magnet to Hollywood Success.

Cortelious’ thirst for knowledge doesn’t stop at acting. As he continues to pursue roles for stage, TV & Film he also teaches classes for actors in LA and San Francisco. In addition, Cortelious has managed to balance a passion for acting while fulfilling yet another childhood passion as a scientist.

Cortelious now holds multiple degrees in Astrophysics and Aerospace Engineering from the California University system & works with U.S. government on national security issues.
Moved from Chicago Illinois to California to enter his college education in science and engineering.

Cortelious expanded his education path leading him to translate ancient Cuneiform and hieroglyphic writings in addition to earning multiple degrees in science. All this as Cortelious moved closer to the acting profession.
Cortelious’ ability to reach deeply into his wide ranging and unique talent makes him a well-rounded actor.
